Welcome to my Together in TEAL® Page!

I've registered for National Ovarian Cancer Coalition’s Together in TEAL® 5K race to raise awareness and funds in support of the ovarian cancer community. My efforts will help improve the lives of individuals, families, and communities affected by ovarian cancer—but I can’t do this alone. That’s why I’m asking you to make a tax-deductible donation today, in whatever amount you can afford, in support of my fundraising goals. 

Because there’s no screening test for ovarian cancer, funds raised for the NOCC support both national programs and local community initiatives to heighten awareness of the subtle signs, symptoms, and risks of ovarian cancer—the only way to detect it early. In fact, it was an NOCC awareness campaign that led to my initial diagnosis 21 years ago, which is why I’ve enjoyed a 21-year survivorship when most people with ovarian cancer do not survive past 5 years. 

Funds raised for the NOCC also provide quality-of-life and educational resources to survivors and caregivers throughout their journey, and advocate for the advancement of life-saving ovarian cancer research.

Together we can strengthen the TEAL community and help fight this relentless disease that has claimed too many lives.
