Easy Ways to Jumpstart Your Fundraising

  • Set a goal
  • Connect with Facebook (and put your fundraising link in your Instagram profile bio!)
  • Send an email
  • Share your story on social media

Fundraise Your Way

Facebook & Social Media

Connect your fundraising page to Facebook and share your story. Add your fundraising page link to your Instagram profile bio. Have LinkedIn and other social media platforms? Announce there and ask for support!

Email

Send an email to your friends, family, and coworkers to follow up with those who haven’t made a donation.

Publicize

Share your efforts in your college alumni magazine or your office newsletter.

Breakfast

Buy donuts for breakfast (or get them donated) and sell them every Monday morning at work or at school.

Online auction

Collect unwanted but valuable items and auction them on E-Bay, Facebook Marketplace, and Poshmark (or get donated items to auction off). Donate the proceeds to your team.

Ask

Contact clubs, your house of worship, or other organizations that you are a member of, and request to speak to the community about NOCC and your fundraising efforts. You may also request to place information in the bulletin or newsletter.

Vendors

Ask vendors who you are connected with for a donation or a percentage of sales.

Fundraise on Facebook

Facebook allows you to fundraise with the click of a button. All funds raised on Facebook will sync directly to your Together in TEAL® personal fundraising page.

To connect your personal fundraising dashboard to Facebook, you must be registered.

Matching Gifts

Did you know that you may be able to double or even triple your impact?

Many companies have matching gift programs that will recognize the generosity of their employees. Many even match gifts from spouses and retirees.

Sharing Your Page

The best way to share with your friends and family is by always sharing your personal fundraising page.
By sending your personal page, the donations are credited to you and added to the team at the same time. They can also join the team directly from your page.
