We are thrilled that you’ve taken the leap to being the leader of a {{campaign.nameInSentence}} team this year as the Team Captain of {{team.name}}. As a Team Captain, you’ll inspire your team to make its fundraising mark, and make an impact on ovarian cancer. Here are a few TEAL tips to get you started!

Set your TEAM GOAL
Everyone can work toward the same overall goal. Keep the team motivated to reach your TEAM GOAL! As you near your goal, increase it! Why stop when this cause is in need of so much support.

Lead by example
Make a self-donation to your team. Your teammates will see you fundraising and will follow your lead. Make it your first all-team challenge to have all team members raise $100 for their shirts in the next two weeks! If they succeed - celebrate them!

Share your team’s WHY
Tell your story by sharing WHO the team is honoring or celebrating, WHY you’ve all joined Together in TEAL, and WHAT it means for others to support your team. An easy way to get your WHY out is to connect your Facebook Fundraiser from your participant dashboard, and ask team members to do the same. And, don't forget to post on Instagram, X, and LinkedIn!

Go public with your gratitude!
Openly celebrate your teammates when they join your team, when they get donations, when they recruit another team member, and for reaching fundraising milestones.

Be the messenger
Keep your team in the loop on important fundraising goals, milestones, and event messages. Answer any questions your teammates have.
