Hosted by the Pacific Region of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC), Cooking Up Connections is a complimentary survivor social designed specifically for ovarian cancer survivors and caregivers. Join fellow survivors and caregivers for a hands-on culinary experience with Chef Cori VonMoon at EATZLA!
Together, we'll learn the art of creating the perfect weekend brunch with step-by-step guidance from Chef Cori, who will be there to answer questions and share tips throughout the class. Our delicious menu includes Eggs en Cocotte with Smoked Salmon & Chives, Sweet Potato Hash, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Berries & Maple Syrup, and bottomless mocktails.
Everyone will have the opportunity to participate in preparing the meal, making this an engaging, interactive, and social experience. Whether you're an experienced home chef or simply enjoy trying something new, you'll learn new culinary skills while sharing meaningful conversation in a welcoming and supportive environment with others who understand the ovarian cancer journey.
Once our brunch is complete, we'll gather around the table to relax, connect, and enjoy the delicious meal we've created together.
Together, we connect, create, and nourish hope.
