About Volunteers

The NOCC needs your help, and we have a place for you. There are several opportunities for volunteering and turning your passion into action. 

Please complete the registration form and your local manager will connect with you.

Volunteer Positions Available:

Together in Teal planning (prior to event)

Sponsorship Outreach 

  • Help our Sponsorship Committee find businesses to sponsor.

Food & Beverage Outreach 

  • Help secure in-kind donations of food/beverages.

Auction Outreach

  • ​Help secure in-kind donations for the Auction tent.

Saturday, September 27th - 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM

(Please note: we will do our best to honor requests, but positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis in order to ensure the event is fully staffed. Thank you for your understanding. Final Volunteer Assignments will be emailed, and orientation training will be held.)

Event Day Volunteer Positions:

  • Set-Up 
    • Assist with staging the event. Volunteers may help arrange tables/chairs/signage, displays and more. Some heavy lifting may be required - early hours.
  • Parking
    • Help direction parking - early hours of event
  • Volunteer/Community Partner Tent
    • Check in volunteers, community partners, distribute volunteer shirts, reassign as needed.
  • Registration/Check-In Tent
    • Assist with registration/check-in, hand out bibs, collect donations, etc.
  • Rewards Crew
    • Assist the registration volunteers by organizing and distributing t-shirts.
  • Memorial Tent |Forever In Our Hearts 
    • Assist participants with an activity to honor the memory of their loved one.
  • Mission Village
    • Help guests to learn about NOCC programming and services through our 4 pillars. Interactive activities and resources available.
  • Spirit Tent 
    • Assist with fun activities and games.
  • Chance Auction Tent
    • Sell tickets, supervise tent, winner determination, and item distribution.
  • Refreshment Tent
    • Help setup, prepare and distribute refreshments and beverages to participants.
  • Team/Event Photographer 
    • Event and team photographers are needed to help capture our memories.
  • Team Village Crew 
    • Help us extend our gratitude and welcome our top teams to the Team Village. You will greet guests and distribute team t-shirts.
  • Finish Line Crew
    • Share your energy an enthusiasm and cheer on participants as they cross the finish line - great for cheerleaders/scout troops.
