2026 Disney Princess Marathon Weekend supporting National Ovarian Cancer Coalition

This year, Annette, Todd, and Lydia registered for the Disney Princess Half Marathon and 5k in honor of Rebecca Smith Merrill.
Rebecca had always wanted to do the Disney Princess Half Marathon, and made a pact with Annette that they would run it together. Even during her fight with ovarian cancer, Rebecca spoke of how she always wanted to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon together with Annette.
Rebecca passed away 3 years ago from ovarian cancer. Annette, and her husband and daughter (Rebecca's Godchild), will all be running both the Half Marathon and 5k in 2026 in her memory. It's no coincidence that the color for this year's 2026 Disney Princess Half Marathon is TEAL, the same color as the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition's branding.
We are running in her memory and to raise awareness and funding for National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. Your support will help improve the lives of individuals, families and communities touched by ovarian cancer and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
In this year of great challenges, one even greater challenge remains, saving more lives from ovarian cancer. Dollars raised for the NOCC support national programs and local market initiatives to heighten awareness of the subtle signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, assist newly-diagnosed patients throughout the country, provide ongoing support to caregivers, and advocate for the advancement of ovarian cancer research.
Help me connect with my community and show my passion for saving lives and ending ovarian cancer.
Will you please join me to honor Rebecca's memory and also help save lives by donating today?
