I am bringing HOPE to New Heights with TEAM TEAL!
This year, I registered for the 2026 Peru: Ausangate Trek Hope to New Heights because I want to raise awareness and funding for National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. My support will help improve the lives of women, families and communities touched by ovarian cancer and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts. Together, we will show there is no limit - (or height!) that we will go to help end ovarian cancer. I'm celebrating my 50th year of life, but more importantly, I'm celebrating 10 years of my daughter, Desolina, being cancer free - I will do all I can to keep raising awareness and funds to help end ovarian cancer!
Dollars raised for the NOCC support national programs and local market initiatives to heighten awareness of the subtle signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, assist newly-diagnosed patients throughout the country, provide ongoing support to caregivers, and advocate for the advancement of ovarian cancer research.

My why
Desolina is my why. Watching her thrive and mature has motivated me to do better, and to keep fighting for those in the midst of their own battles. If she could join me on the trek, we'd do it together, but knowing she and the rest of my family will be cheering me on will be the reminder I need to keep trekking.
