2026 TCS New York City Marathon supporting National Ovarian Cancer Coalition

I'm running the NYC Marathon with Team TEAL for my sister, Cassidy!
At 28, my sister Cassidy was excited for what she thought would be her best year yet. But while on a trip to Miami, she found herself in the emergency room for pelvic pain. There, a doctor found a large mass in her right ovary. Back home in San Francisco, her ovary was removed, she was diagnosed with stage 2 ovarian cancer. After many rounds of complex treatment and chemotherapy, Cassidy’s cancer returned in her other ovary nine months later. She underwent another surgery, more chemotherapy, and began ongoing maintenance infusions.
Despite all of these hardships, Cassidy continued to be her positive and strong self that lights up any room she walks into. Today, Cassidy has been cancer-free for two years, a milestone that fills her and those around her with hope.
This year, I registered for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon because I want to raise awareness and funding for National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, an organization that supports so many women just like Cassidy battling ovarian cancer. Your support funds ovarian cancer research, education, awareness, and quality-of-life programs.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts and help me connect with my community and show my passion for saving lives and ending ovarian cancer.
