I am bringing HOPE to New Heights with TEAM TEAL!

This year, I registered for the 2026 Peru: Ausangate Trek Hope to New Heights because I want to raise awareness and funding for National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. My support will help improve the lives of women, families and communities touched by ovarian cancer and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts. Together, we will show there is no limit - (or height!) that we will go to help end ovarian cancer.

For decades, I have had the privilege of caring for patients as a gynecologic oncologist. I now channel my love of the outdoors into raising awareness and critical funds for ovarian cancer. While this trek will test me physically, it is nothing compared to the strength required of those living with an ovarian cancer diagnosis.

In this year of great challenges, one even greater challenge remains, saving more lives from ovarian cancer. Dollars raised for the NOCC support national programs and local market initiatives to heighten awareness of the subtle signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, assist newly-diagnosed patients throughout the country, provide ongoing support to caregivers, and advocate for the advancement of ovarian cancer research.

Help me connect with my community and show my passion for saving lives and ending ovarian cancer.

Over the past 30 years as a gynecologist oncologist, I have had the privilege of taking care of many amazing women each with an incredible story. I was thrilled to be asked to surprise Gretchen (left) with her survivorship wand after her beautiful speech given to a crowd of nearly 2000 people. It was a beautiful moment for both of us. I had a similar experience with Meredith (right) at the 2018 NOCC event in New York City. These are the moments I do what I do.
